Place your piece on any junction of the board to commence the game. Alternate turns with your opponent, putting one stone per turn. Surround your opponent's stones entirely to take them from the board. Control more area than your opponent by the end of the game to succeed. Use planning to prevent your opponent's moves while extending your own territory. Keep in mind that stones are immovable once placed, unless taken. Play concludes when both players forgo their turns consecutively, indicating no more plays can benefit either side.
